Fragmented, unfinished, and originally untitled, Howe’s manuscript tells the story of Laurence, an intersex person who identifies as male and has a complex relationship with his body, his gender, and his sexual and romantic orientations. This particular seminar was themed around recovered texts, making Howe’s manuscript the perfect choice for the course.
